  • You should wear comfortable, form-fitting clothing to a Pilates class that allows for a full range of motion and for your instructor to see your form. Grippy socks are ideal, and if you need, you can purchase them directly from us.

  • Pilates is for everyone, regardless of age or fitness level. Exercises can be modified to suit individual needs. Please get in touch if you’re unsure of which class to join, or if you might be best having a 121 session initially.

  • Please bring a water bottle and grippy socks to class. Don’t worry if you forget we have both at the studio.

  • For optimal results, aim for 2-3 classes per week, but even once a week can be beneficial

  • Pilates improves core strength, flexibility, posture, body awareness, muscle tone, and can help with injury prevention as well as rehabilitation

  • Mat Pilates uses only your body weight on a mat, while reformer Pilates utilises a specialized apparatus called a reformer for added resistance and variety.
